FWD Feature: Lindrea Reynolds, Next Level Brand Behavior

FWD Collective is excited to announce that Lindrea Reynolds has joined the speaker roster for our Chicago Summit on September 12th 2019!

We had the pleasure of connecting with Lindrea to ask a few questions!

What does diversity, equity, and professional inclusion mean to you?
Diversity, Equity and Professional Inclusion means that despite generational gaps and racial and gender differences, we are doing our best to create or provide equal access to opportunities for EVERYONE to excel and have a seat at the table (or build their own). Without judgement and preconceptions, everyone should have an opportunity to authentically use their gifts and talents to build wealth for themselves and generations to come.

How have you experienced and/or dealt with adversity in your professional and personal life?

Yes, I've experienced gender biases and unequal pay. I've seen invoices from a former client where they paid my white counterpart thousands more than me for the same type of work with the same outcome. I was paid about 65% less for my services.

What would be one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
Be Fearless, Be You and Shine!

Name three things that you do everyday to help lead you to success.
1. Listen to inspirational music and read daily devotions.

2. Be authentically me, no matter who I encounter.

3. Support someone on their journey to success.

Who inspires your professional ambition? Why?
My parents inspire me. My parents aren't college graduates and I've watched them work hard to take care of my brother and me. I've also watched my Dad have the best customer service, past the exams, and show up on time but still wouldn't get the promotion or recognition for his efforts. I want to make them proud, but also remind them that no matter how old you are, you are still valuable and deserve better opportunities. I also want youth of color to know that they are valuable and worthy of every great opportunity.

What is your favorite book? Or the one you'd recommend most?
"The One Thing" by Gary Keller

What are the top three things we should know about your business or company?

1. We provide signature business and personal brand plans that help individuals excel as a confident leaders in their chosen industries and organizations better communicate their services and products to their target markets.

2. We believe EVERYONE IS CREATIVE.

3. We are advocates for learning and storytelling. We use storytelling and workshops as a method to inspire individuals to take their business and/or personal brands to the next level.

Anything else you'd like to highlight or think we need to know?
My goal is to evoke a chain reaction of sequence in those whom view or collect my work a reaction of self reflection and positive change. My work is ever-changing and ever-evolving, and always more than meets the eye.
